The center is directed by Professor Hans Gregersen, MD, DMsc., M.P.M. and Professor Asbjørn Mohr Drewes, MD, DMSc, Ph.D.
The center currently has 4 research teams, each with a team manager. Medical doctors, mechanical engineers, mathematicians, pathologists and molecular biologists are employed by the center and numerous Ph.D. students receive supervision at the center. The staff consists of technicians, secretaries and a fundraiser.
The center has its own research school and the Ph.D.-students are affiliated with Ph.D.-schools and universities worldwide. The center mainly functions as a network organization.
